About the Unitarian Universalist
Congregation of the Outer Banks
The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the
Outer Banks is located in Kitty Hawk Village at the
intersection of Kitty Hawk and Herbert Perry Roads.
Some of our community outreach programs include
support of local groups such as Hotline, the
Community Care Clinic, Outer Banks Interfaith
Community Outreach, the Albemarle Food Bank, and the
Dare County collections for Thanksgiving Baskets and
the Christmas Angel Trees.
We welcome and offer friendship to kindred
spirits of any race, nationality, sexual orientation
or religious background.
UUCOB
is also a specifically designated "Welcoming
Congregation", meaning we take special care in being
inclusive towards bisexual, gay, lesbian, and/or
transgender people. You can
read more about what it means to be a Welcoming
Congregation on the Unitarian Universalist
Association's website.
Looking for a liberal religious home?
