Aida Doss Havel “Families Belong Together”
As part of our Sunday service, Aida Doss Havel, a local attorney who resides in Hatteras, will speak about her experience at the US/Mexico border where she assisted immigrants and asylum seekers detained there. She shared some of her thoughts about her journey at a local rally in opposition to the separation of families. Aida’s talk will reflect on the experience at the border and its significance to her.
