UUCOB Minister Rev. David Morris was honored to join local students and speak at the March For Our Lives support rally March 24, 2018 at Dowdy Park in Nags Head, NC. Many members of the UUCOB joined neighbors and students to show solidarity with the larger #MarchForOurLives rally in Washington DC.

Thanks to Lee Fallon for creating this beautiful video that documents the March for Our Lives OBX. It really captures the day.

UUCOB will again have a presence at the OBX PRIDEFEST September 21-23, 2018.  We will always believe in the inherent worth and dignity of EVERY human being.

Additionally,  several UUCOB members and friends are active providing  tutoring with Mano al Hermano and are active supporting their advocacy work on behalf of Dare County’s Spanish-speaking community.

UUCOB members and friends have a strong tradition of leadership and involvement with dozens of worthy organizations in the surrounding community on the Outer Banks. You can work alongside other UUCOB volunteers to support Interfaith Community Outreach, GEM (Gentle Expert Memory Care for adults with dementia)  or many other local charities.

Watch for announcements on our website or weekly e-mail announcements calling for UUCOB volunteers to support future collective group efforts.
