Religious Education

  • Our services often incorporate the involvement of our children, plays, dancing, drumming, and music from some of the finest musicians on the Outer Banks.
  • We welcome children and families at UUCOB. We encourage families to worship together and for parents to model and assist their children learning to participate in worship by singing the songs and listening to the stories and sermon. For most of us, worship is the primary experience of Unitarian Universalism and passing on the knowledge of worship to our children teaches them how to participate in our faith community. We offer child care during the Sunday service at any time for children and families who would like to use it.
  • In partnership with the Heron Pond Montessori School and Dare County Children & Youth Partnership, UUCOB has added new educational features and fun activities to our playground.
